Scheduled maintenance for BBVA Jan 20, 2026 02:00-02:30 UTC

On Tuesday 20/01/2026 between 02:00 and 02:30, a scheduled technical intervention will be carried out in BBVA Entity that will affect their Digital Banking, including PSD2. During this time, both PSD2 functionality and their Digital Banking will be unavailable for less than a minute.

CajaSur Banco S.A.U. merging with Kutxabank Feb 1, 2026 14:37 - Mar 3, 2026 14:37 UTC

On the occasion of the merger by absorption process agreed between the companies Kutxabank S.A., with TIN A-95653077, and CajaSur Banco S.A.U., with TIN A-95622841, the corresponding public merger deed was granted on October 1, 2025, which was duly registered on the same date, in the Mercantile Registers of Bizkaia and Córdoba, respectively, which has led to the extinction without liquidation of Cajasur Banco, S.A.U. which has been universally succeeded in all its rights and obligations by Kutxabank S.A.

The operational and technological integration process of both entities is planned for mid-February 2026:
From that moment on, customers coming from the Cajasur Banco SAU company will use Kutxabank’s APIs. Therefore, these customers will have to generate new access tokens and provide the relevant consents in Kutxabank.
It will not be possible to consult the status of any international and SEPA payments initiated in Cajasur until 4 days before the intervention (operation in progress). Questions about these statuses can be consulted at Kutxabank through the "TPP’s support tool

Removal of Card endpoints from PSD2 AIS Feb 26, 2026 00:00 - Feb 27, 2026 00:00 UTC

DNB will be removing four unused endpoints from PSD2 AIS. These are the “card” endpoints which have not been used since V2 was introduced:

get List all card accounts
get Reads details about a card account
get Read transaction list of a card account
get Read card account balances

They will be removed 2026-02-26

Resolved - On 2026-01-12 we have seen elevated error rates affecting many calls with SpareBank 1 SMN, SpareBank1 Nord-Norge and SpareBank1 Ostlandet. AIS calls were affected.

Update - Communication from Commerzbank:

We would like to give you an update on the reported issue: Since 30.12.2025, our interface experiences partially exceptionally high load. This caused our services to respond with higher rejection rates to your requests. We are adapting our systems and are trying to decrease the error rate further.

Resolved - During 1st January between 09:00 CET and 12:00 CET we identified an increased number of failed payments for OP bank in Finland. Traffic was restored afterwards and success rate back to normal.
