Important Update Regarding Nordea SEPA Credit Transfers in Finland Jan 25, 2025 00:00 - Jan 30, 2025 00:00 UTC
Starting 25 January 2025, any SEPA credit transfer in Finland that includes both a Creditor reference and a Creditor message will be rejected.

It means that if both a Creditor reference and a Creditor message are included in the payment instruction, only the Creditor reference will be processed and forwarded. This means that the Creditor message will be ignored and not transmitted to the recipient.

This change is specific to the Finnish market.
If you have any questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Please note that this relates to both "Domestic FI SEPA payments" and regular "SEPA payments"

Effective 17 March 2025, American Express has chosen to restrict access of PSD2 APIs to only include France and the United Kingdom. This means that providers SE_AmericanExpress and FI_AmericanExpress will be disabled for all clients on 17 March 2025 and subsequently deleted.

American Express have informed us, that the decision is made on the basis that Customer Accounts in EU countries other than France and the United Kingdom do not qualify as ‘payment accounts’ under PSD2. Consequently, any American Express API suite services provided in countries other than France and United Kingdom had been so far rendered voluntarily by American Express, who had no legal obligation under PSD2 to provide them.

Scheduled - During 7-8 Jan, we are migrating to the new PSD2 API version of Santander providers. PSU will experience SCA flow will be now using to Decoupled SCA Approach, which currently is Redirect Approach. The DebtorAccount (Source Account) field will be mandatory in payment initiation request.

No change is required for TPPs or PSU side. The service will continue operating as it is.

During this migration period, we might experience some downtime. However, we are closely monitoring and actioning to ensure the least downtime possible.
