On the occasion of the merger by absorption process agreed between the companies Kutxabank S.A., with TIN A-95653077, and CajaSur Banco S.A.U., with TIN A-95622841, the corresponding public merger deed was granted on October 1, 2025, which was duly registered on the same date, in the Mercantile Registers of Bizkaia and Córdoba, respectively, which has led to the extinction without liquidation of Cajasur Banco, S.A.U. which has been universally succeeded in all its rights and obligations by Kutxabank S.A.
The operational and technological integration process of both entities will take place over the weekend of February 13th to 15th, 2026: From that moment on, customers coming from the Cajasur Banco SAU company will use Kutxabank’s APIs. Therefore, these customers will have to generate new access tokens and provide the relevant consents in Kutxabank. It will not be possible to consult the status of any international and SEPA payments initiated in Cajasur until 4 days before the intervention (operation in progress).
